This is a sketch of geometric shapes on a table covered with a white cloth lit up from an angle. The purpose of this assignment was to capture the sharp crisp lines of each shape, correctly space each shape from each other, and include shadows from the shapes. Lines were used to create depth and give each shape strong geometric lines. Space was used to show the placing of each object on the table and to give the piece depth. Different values were used to were the light source was located and give the shapes a 3D effect.
